Why is Wheatland Bank combining with North Cascades Bank?
By joining forces with Wheatland Bank, North Cascades Bank becomes a market-leading bank franchise in eastern
Washington. We’ll be expanding into important new markets that many of our customers already operate in and
that we’ve wanted to be in for a long time, including Spokane, the Tri-Cities, Moses Lake, Yakima, Ellensburg and
more. When the transaction closes in 4th quarter of this year, we’ll become eastern Washington’s #4 market
leader in deposit market share and will have the best combined banking team of any bank in the region. This is an
exciting development for our employees, customers, communities, and shareholders.

How will this affect me as a North Cascades Bank customer?
You’ll have access to more locations and more great bankers, and soon you’ll come to know us by a new name.
Otherwise, the change will be seamless for you. Your products and services will remain the same and you’ll still
see the same familiar employees helping you with your financial needs.

Will my accounts change?
Normally when banks combine, there’s a conversion and changes in technology. However, in this case, we already
serve you using the systems that will remain in place. Wheatland Bank’s existing customers will move to our
technology in March 2024, but that conversion won’t impact your North Cascades Bank products and services.
You may continue using your checks, credit and debit cards, and online and mobile banking services. The terms
and conditions of your loans and lines of credit will remain the same.

For the time being, it is business as usual. We have minimal overlap of branches with Wheatland Bank in Chelan and
Wenatchee. We will know more as we work through the transition process and make decisions about how we
operate in those markets. Should any changes in service happen, you will have ample notice.
