Wheatland To Join Glacier Bancorp

We are pleased to announce that Wheatland Bank will be combining with North Cascades Bank as a division of Glacier Bancorp, Inc.

As of Tuesday, August 8, 2023, the board of directors for Community Financial Group, Inc., the Spokane-based holding company of Wheatland Bank, unanimously voted to enter into an agreement to join the Glacier Bancorp family of banks. Pending approval by Community Financial Group, Inc. shareholders and approval by the banking regulators, Wheatland Bank will officially become part of Glacier Bancorp in the 4th quarter of 2023.

The Glacier family of banks includes North Cascades Bank, headquartered in Chelan, Washington, with 9 branches and approximately 100 employees. The North Cascades division will merge into the new Wheatland Bank division. Susan Horton, Wheatland’s President and Chief Executive Officer, will continue to lead the new larger and expanded Wheatland Bank division in the same capacity. The new combined division will initially be $1.6 billion in assets and operate with 23 branches and approximately 250 employees throughout eastern and central Washington.

Why is Wheatland Bank combining with North Cascades Bank?

By joining forces with Wheatland Bank, North Cascades Bank becomes a market-leading bank franchise in eastern
Washington. We’ll be expanding into important new markets that many of our customers already operate in and
that we’ve wanted to be in for a long time, including Spokane, the Tri-Cities, Moses Lake, Yakima, Ellensburg and
more. When the transaction closes in 4th quarter of this year, we’ll become eastern Washington’s #4 market
leader in deposit market share and will have the best combined banking team of any bank in the region. This is an
exciting development for our employees, customers, communities, and shareholders.

Will North Cascades Bank’s name change? If so, when?
Yes. We’ll formally be known as Wheatland Bank, a division of Glacier Bank. We’ll combine with Wheatland when
they formally join the Glacier family in the 4th quarter of 2023.

How will this affect me as a North Cascades Bank customer?
You’ll have access to more locations and more great bankers, and soon you’ll come to know us by a new name.
Otherwise, the change will be seamless for you. Your products and services will remain the same and you’ll still
see the same familiar employees helping you with your financial needs.

Will my accounts change?
Normally when banks combine, there’s a conversion and changes in technology. However, in this case, we already
serve you using the systems that will remain in place. Wheatland Bank’s existing customers will move to our
technology in March 2024, but that conversion won’t impact your North Cascades Bank products and services.
You may continue using your checks, credit and debit cards, and online and mobile banking services. The terms
and conditions of your loans and lines of credit will remain the same.

Will any of North Cascades Bank’s offices be closed or combined?
For the time being, it is business as usual. We have minimal overlap of branches with Wheatland Bank in Chelan and
Wenatchee. We will know more as we work through the transition process and make decisions about how we
operate in those markets. Should any changes in service happen, you will have ample notice.

If I have questions, who can I call?
You can call or visit your local branch, or call your loan officer, mortgage officer or relationship banker. You may
also call the North Cascades Bank Customer Resource Center at 1-800-603-9342
