North Cascades Bank – November 18, 2020
In light of the new state-wide COVID-19 restrictions, all North Cascades Bank branches will continue to remain open; however, we encourage the following safe and sound practices:
- Keep visits to 15 minutes or less.
- Call to schedule an appointment for longer in-person transactions, such as loan or account-related inquiries.
- Continue to use our convenient online and mobile banking tools.
- Per Washington State mandate, a face covering or mask over the nose and mouth must be worn by customers and employees while inside a branch.
Our branch and drive-thru locations will remain open regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
We have taken extra precautions to maintain a safe and healthy experience based on CDC, state, and local guidance. When visiting, we ask that you help us by adhering to all posted Bank policies.
- We will follow the guidance for retail establishments and will limit capacity to 25% of normal occupancy limits.
- Signage and floor graphics are in place to help customers maintain a 6-foot social distance.
- We have installed plexiglass guards on the teller lines and desks to protect tellers and customers.
- High use areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized.
- Please be prepared to identify yourself while in a branch with a valid ID.

North Cascades Bank – September 21, 2020
As of today, all North Cascades Bank lobbies are open for regular business hours. Strict social distancing guidelines are in place and facial coverings are required. To continue to keep everyone safe, all customer/employee interactions in the branch including new accounts and loan inquiries are limited to 10 minutes and must be scheduled in advance. Our staff will work with you over the phone to prepare your new account or loan before having you come to the branch for signings. Please call us to make an appointment at 1-800-603-9342.
Due to a consistent high volume of customer transactions at the Brewster branch, additional procedures are in place to limit transaction time and efficiently serve as many customers as possible. Drive-thru transactions are limited to deposits only with no cash back. An additional option is to deposit your check or cash in the Deposit Drop box (located next to the ATM) which is processed throughout the day with withdrawals up to $2,000 available at the ATM (per funds available in your account).

Keeping our employees and customers safe is our top priority. COVID numbers are higher in the Brewster community than in the other markets we serve. That said, we are making several changes at our Brewster branch to provide faster, more efficient methods to serve our customers and keep everyone safe. For the next few weeks, our drive-thru window will be closed. Our lobby remains open by appointment. For deposits, please use our Deposit Drop box (located next to the ATM). We are processing these deposits throughout the business day. For cash withdrawals, us the ATM. We have temporarily increased ATM withdrawal limits up to $2,000, dependent on funds availability. If you need to see us in the lobby to open an account or for any need that cannot be done at the Deposit Drop or ATM, please call us at 689-0580 to make an appointment and we would be happy to assist you. Effective July 7th of this week, all customers are required to wear a mask to enter our lobbies. At this time we have opened the lobby at Grand Coulee, Omak, Okanogan and Twisp branches and our staff is available to meet with customers at all other branches by appointment. Please call us at 1-800-603-9342 to schedule an appointment. When you visit any of our branches, please bring a mask. If you forget your mask, we will be happy to provide you with one that you may keep. Our drive-drive lanes are open at all branches during regular business hours and customers can easily make a deposit using the branch night drop box.. The counties we serve have moved into various opening phases by Governor Inslee and we are beginning the process of opening our lobbies. Our Grand Coulee branch lobby is now open and our Twisp, Omak, and Okanogan lobbies will open on Monday, June 15th. Please expect to see some changes in our lobbies which will include limited occupancy with social distancing standards and longer transactions, such as new account opening, available by appointment only. We will phase-in the reopening of our remaining branches once we have gathered feedback from our first round of lobbies to open. We have not yet established a reopen date for our lobbies, but we are in the process of creating a plan to make certain that we are ready. The focus of our plan is to serve our customers in a way that keeps the safety of our employees and customers as the top priority. We have made adjustments to our work spaces and internal processes to support social distancing in the workplace. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by coronavirus (COVID-19) and we are committed to responding to customer needs. Understanding our branches are public spaces that can oftentimes be very busy, we would like to share the following information regarding how we plan to continue operating in the safest way possible while serving our customers and the community.
Safety is in the details
We have established a corporate task force that is monitoring and gathering information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as federal, state, and local health agencies. Employees receive regular updates including health guidelines and recommendations issued by these entities for ensuring a safe work and public environment.
We continue to focus on our daily cleaning routines within all branch facilities, using the recommended disinfectant products on all surfaces including high traffic areas. Hand sanitizers are readily available in all public areas and we include both hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial soap in all restrooms. Each restroom is also equipped with proper signage for hand washing/hygiene techniques.
